Two household names in the world of comedy are coming to Chesterfield in the same week.
Dom Joly (pictured) hits town on Thursday, July 21, with a show focusing on highly questionable exploits such as skiing down volcanoes and trying to fly across the Grand Canyon strapped to an 8ft rocket.
The man who made his name in Trigger Happy TV and latterly as a contender in I’m A Celebrity comes to the Winding Wheel as part of a national tour to promote his show Welcome To Wherever I Am.
Fun-slinger Jimmy Carr promises non-stop jokes, gags and banter in his ninth solo show, Laughter Therapy.
Appealing to those who have a sick sense of humour, Jimmy’s show is not for those with a sensitive disposition or an overactive moral compass. Laughter Therapy will be staged at the Winding Wheel on Saturday, July 16.
Tickets cost £25 for Jimmy Carr’s show and £19.50 for Dom Joly’s show.
