SUPPORTING Paul Carrack on his ‘Good Feeling’ Tour - which comes to Buxton Opera House on Sunday evening - is Tinlin.
A partnership of two brothers, the emphasis of their songwriting lies firmly in the production of original, honest and well-crafted pop music.
Tinlin’s sound is constantly evolving from the raw simplicity of folk-influenced mandolin and guitar to bigger, bolder productions complimented by hits of funky electric piano and inventive percussion by Jack Carrack.
The band has become known for striking vocal harmonies that lie at the heart of their music.
Tinlin’s new album, Shade of the Shadows, evolved from their 2011 UK tour supporting Carrack.
They have also collaborated with the legendary singer/songwriter on the track Make it Right, which features on Carrack’s new album Good Feeling.
Tickets for the January 6 performance at Buxton Opera House, priced £25.50 and £27.50, are available on 0845 127 2190 or online at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk.
