Bringing laughter to Glossop

The UK’s first Women in Comedy Festival, which takes places across Greater Manchester in October, features two gigs at Glossop’s Globe Inn.

On October 12, Kerry Leigh will be performing her show ‘Love Bits’ at the High Street West venue at 8pm. Advance tickets cost £3 or £5 on the door.

And, on October 26, comedy night Laughing Cows, hosted by Angie McEvoy, with Jen Brister and Maureen Younger, will come to town, starting at 8pm. Advance tickets cost £5 and £7 on the door.

The festival celebrates all things funny and female across a variety of platforms including live comedy performances, comedy theatre, spoken word, book readings, film, visual art, installations, improvisation and debates.
