Award-winning singers Big Brovaz, noughties pop star Lolly and international dance act Booty Luv will headline this year’s Chesterfield Pride.
Now in its fourth year, the event will be held on Sunday, July 22, at a new location, Stand Road park at Whittington Moor.
More than 4,500 people attended the event in 2017 and this year is set to be even bigger.
Big Brovaz, a MOBO award-winning r ‘n’ b and hip-hop group, will perform their hits Nu Flow, Favourite Things and Baby Boy.
Lolly has racked up five top 20 hits, the most successful of which was Toni Basil’s classic Mickey,
Booty Luv have a string of hits to choose from, ranging from Boogie 2Nite to Say It.
Joining them will be a mix of X Factor stars, Pride favourites and the best in local performers.
The event also has food stalls, large market area, licensed bar and fairground.
Event organiser Dan Walker said: “We are really proud how far the event has come and how well it has been received. The event has a real buzz about it and
it continues to grow. Everyone is welcome.”
The event runs from 1pm to 7pm. Admission is free.
