Have say on plans to scale Derbyshire mobile library service back

Plans to reduce the number of mobile libraries in Derbyshire have gone out to a second round of consultation.

A proposal to maintain two of Derbyshire County Council’s eight vehicles was revealed after thousands of people took part in the first consultation.

The council says it needs to make changes to save £157 million over the next five years.

Stage two of the consultation runs until Saturday, August 9. Questionnaires are available in libraries and online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk
