There’s some cracking good fun in store at Chatsworth this Easter.

One of the biggest and most popular Easter Egg Hunts in the region, special appearances from the Easter Bunny and a ride on the magical Eggspress are just some of the treats in store for those who visit Chatsworth this Easter as the estate opens up for the new season.

With the house, garden and farmyard wreathed in spring flowers and decorations, there’s something for visitors of all ages to enjoy at Chatsworth this Easter, from free face painting in Flora’s Temple to egg hunt trails in the house and garden and of course, the chance to spot the Easter Bunny who will be hopping by to deliver treats every day of the Easter weekend (April 3-6).

As well as the hugely popular Easter Egg hunts in the Chatsworth Farmyard over the Easter weekend, catering for up to 1,000 egg hunters a day, children can also climb aboard the Easter Eggspress setting off several times a day.

Visitors to the house and garden will also be able to join the in the fun spotting decorated eggs hidden inside to tie in with new items and old favourites while a dozen golden eggs hidden around the garden will draw attention to the spring highlights.

Both house and garden egg hunt trails are free upon admission.

There will be plenty going on over the whole school holiday period (March 28 – April 12), with spring-themed craft activities taking place daily in the Oak Barn in the Farmyard and outdoor crafts and spring bulb planting on offer at the newly opened educational centre, The Stickyard.
