A host of television talent will be tickling the funny bones of spectators at a Derbyshire theatre.
Award-winning comedy, Funny Peculiar, stars Bolsover-born Steven Blakeley, best known for playing PC Geoff Younger in Heartbeat, Craig Gazey, who played Graham Proctor in Coronation Street, fellow Corrie star Vicky Entwhistle, best known as feisty Janice Battersby and Gemma Bissix, two-time British Soap Awards’ winner for her role in Hollyoaks.
The play, running at Derby Theatre from April 16-21, tells the story of Trevor Tinsley, a married small-town grocer who is led astray into the arms of his neighbour’s wife and into domestic trouble.
Funny Peculiar is recommended only for those aged 16-plus as it contains strong language, full frontal nudity and adult humour.
