We are the champions!


Dronfield Town U15s have clinched the league title.

They secured the honour by defeating Rosehill Press 4-2.

Marksmen were Jake Younger, Dan White, Tom Goddard and Dale Jones.

Dronfield Town Saturday Seniors beat Kiveton Park away 3-1.

John Perkins, Dan Wood and John Doran for Town who had Ash Rawson and Brett Gibbons outstanding in central midfield.

Next week Town are at home at Stonelow to Thoresby as part of the prestigious annual Central Midlands League bonanza which comes to Dronfield for the first time. Kick off is at 4.30 p.m . Support is more than welcome.

Dronfield Town’s Seniors Reserves had a Jekyll and Hyde week firstly going to Rainworth in mid week and coming away with a great 3-2 win. Stef Rankine, Scott Austin and an own goal. And then at home to Belper on Saturday sacrificing a 3-1 lead to disappointingly go down 4-3. Karl Hobson, Joe Butler and Mikey Shaw for Town.

Town Over 35s beat Manor Castle 6-1. Ha- tricks from both Dale Thurnham and Paul Slowe.

Dronfield U21s beat Mosborough 5-2 to take a step closer to the Meadowhall league U21 league title. Two from Johnny Pugh and one each from Richard Hurst, Mikey Shaw and Callum Mawby.

Town U18s were beaten 4-3 by Sheffield Rangers. Jack Lambert with two and one from Lewis Derrett.

Dronfield U16s went down 2-0 to SWYO.

Dronfield U14s fought hard and deserved a share of the points in a 2-2 draw with Sheffield Rangers. Noah Staton and James Weston for Town.

Town U10s were beaten 4-1 by Rawmarsh St Joseph. The impressive Daniel Rhodes with the Town goal. George Washbourne was in good form.
