Matlock Town’s impressive new stand has won a top award.
The Twigg Stand - with a seating capacity of just under 300 - has been judged as the best new non-league stand in the country by the Groundtastic publication.
And on Sunday, Groundtastic’s Vincent Taylor presented the award to Gladiators chiefs.
The new stand, which contains changing rooms for players, was constructed as part of a massive revamp at the Reynolds Stadium which also includes a new social club, which opened to acclaim last week.
Matlock town chief executive Keith Brown is pictured collecting the award from Vincent Taylor with (from left) David Allen, managing director of Twiggs Ltd, Richard Tarbatt, director of Twiggs Ltd and David Smith, managing director of Arlington Projects the builders of The Twigg Stand, changing rooms and community room.
