Tight at top with two rounds to go

With only two more rounds of matches to play things are really tight.

Nedsc entertained mid table Grassmoor, Oliver Brown proving too hot against Hall of Famer Edwin Smith, Oliver ran out 111-7 winner.

Also winning for North East was Nigel Bond 95-64 against A Taylor.

Tim Creswell has hit a good streak of form ahead of his Division One final with a 69-23 win over D Coop, but Shirebrook I believe will not go away with out a fight.

In Division Two Hasland hold a two point lead over second-placed nedsc G, but also have a game in hand.

In Division Three bottom side Hasland went to second side Riverside and ran out 5-0 losers.

John Hunter hit a 51 break over A Else, reports say it was comfortable win for Riverside.

Hustlers also maintained their winning ways with a fine 4-1 verdict over third-placed New Whitt.

In Division Four current leaders Newbold had tough game against Doe Lea A but came out 3-2 winners keeping them a point ahead of second-placed New Whitt C who lost to NEDSC E 3-2.

In Division Five, we can issue congratulatlions to Hustlers D who have an 11-point with two matches to go .

Well done to the youngsters, but second-placed Poolsbrook are hanging on for second slot by one point over New Tupton A.
