Swimmers excel at the Ghoul in the Pool

Members of Chesterfield Swimming Club put on a frightfully good display at ‘Ghoul in the Pool’ organised by Belper Marlins.

Competitors aged from nine-14 years competed across events on Saturday, October 25 at The Arc in Matlock.

A total of 30 medals were won by the club’s swimmers, who, for some, was their first experience of an individual competition.

Head coach Mark Tanner said: “This was a really well organised meet with a fantastic theme. Coaches, swimmers and supporters all made the most of Halloween by dressing up in fancy dress.

“Swimmers achieved some massive PBs and I am really proud of all of their performances.”
