Super Brad nets treble for U16s


Staveley MW U16s made it ten wins out of ten by defeating Abbey Lane 9-1.

Leading the way with a hat-trick was man of the match Brad Smith while other goals came from Danny Masters 2, Ryan Bates, Joe Harris, Tom Young and Greg Fitzpatrick.

Staveley U15s came away from Sheffield FC with a well earned 4-3 win.

On target were Jack Martin 2, man of the match Josh Wileman and George Talbot.

Staveley U14s drew 3-3 with Worksop Boys. Scorers were George Hilditch 2 and James Evans.

Staveley U13s defeated Eckington 2-0. Targetmen were Max Hunt and Ali Dungworth. Man of the match was James Flint.

Staveley U11s maintained their unbeaten away record when a Daniel Riley goal earned them a point. Man of the match for the third time was Mehdi Khalifa.

Staveley U10s went down 6-2 against table-toppers Brinsworth. Scorers were Jack Goodhand and George Bird. Match awards went to Charlie Evans and Josh Booth.

Staveley U9s lost out 7-4 against Heeley. Scorers were Callum Taylor, Bradley Beavers, and Kien Delaney 2. Match awards went to Louis Hegarty and Callum Taylor.

New Tupton Ivanhoes U11 defeated Babworth Rovers 6-1.

Scorers were Luke Baddaley 2, Ross Booker 2, Cameron Purcell and Harry Hole. Man of the match was Ben Wilde.

New Tupton Ivanhoes U9s edged out Walesby 3-2.

Goals were netted by Peter Lacey, Liam Hall and Eden Biggs while man of the match was Alex Lilleyman.

Old Whittington U16s booked their ticket to the cup semi-final thanks to a 2-1 victory over Grassmoor Gladiators.

Marksmen were Lewis Franks and Matt Coates.

Old Whitt U15s defeated ADASC 2-1 thanks to goals from Jake Gascoigne and Mitchell Adlington to win their place in the last eight of the cup.

Somersall Rangers U12s beat Nether Green 6-0.

Goals were scored by Billy Whitehead 2, Louis Rouse, Will Tomlinson, Jordan Wells and Sam Barlow who also won the man of the match award.

Brimwood United U8s had goals from Sam Jackson, Thomas Elsey, James Ingman in their game against CAFA Cougars. Man of the match was James Stennet.

Brimwood U10s drew 0-0 with ADASC Rockets. The match award went to Bailey Sallows.

Brimwood U14s lost 5-1 against Welbeck Welfare in the cup.

The consolation came from Brad Woodward while the man of the match was Liam Deane

Brimwood U16s beat Chesterfield Town 3-0 in the cup.

On target were man of the match Nathan Hughes 2 and Matthew Yates on debut.

Somersall Blues U15s beat Chesterfield Town 5-1.

Man of the match George Sutcliffe scored twice while Jake Grisdale scored a hat-trick.

Chesterfield Junior Blues U10 beat Southwell Sharks 2-0 away.

Scorers were Dominic Fitzpatrick and Dominic Millward while Christopher Walden was man of the match on his debut.

Junior Blues U12 Sheffield fought back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4 at home against Brinsworth Whitehall.

Goals came from Kyle Butterworth 2, Jake Wallace and Warwick Wood.

Man of the match was Cameron Padfield.
