AFC Dronfield U11s made it six wins on the bounce with a convincing win away at Wasps.
AFC opened the scoring with a William Rowbotham goal, followed by a Lewis Copley-Dunn double to make the lead unassailable. Despite a rally by Wasps, Will Rowbotham claimed a second to complete the scoreline. Man of the match was to James Tattersall.

AFC Dronfield U9s took on Throstles at home. AFC lost the first match with just a consolation goal from Finley Smith and a goal-less deadlock in the second saw the visitors take home the points. Final score: AFC Dronfield 1, Throstles JFC 3.
AFC U10s met Eckington Boys, in a close match at home. Tim Clark scraped the only goal of the first game to give AFC a narrow advantage. AFC held on through the second match with scoring chances few and far between, however one goal was all that was needed in the finish to secure a top three finish for U10’. Man of the match awards went to Danny Gee and Thomas Mycroft.

AFC U12s met Maltby and the home team capitalised on a slow start by AFC, taking an early lead.
However, Bradley Thompson grabbed an equaliser with the last kick of the first half, to make it even at the break. A physical Maltby took the lead again in the second session, AFC’s Thompson again bringing the score back level.
A late penalty by Ross Martin, took the points for AFC. Man of the match was Ross Ellis. Final Score: Maltby Juniors 2 - AFC Dronfield 3.
AFC U13s took on top of the table, Abbey Lane away.
AFC started strongly and offensive play led to first blood with an AFC goal from Joe Cuffling, Abbey Lane fought back however to close the first half all square.
Promotion-seeking Abbey Lane pressure early in the second half, produced a brace of goals and despite a strong play by AFC, they couldn’t make good on their chances; a final goal from Abbey sealing the win.
Man of the match honours went to Cameron Burke and Charlie Bird.
