Simon Deaton believes he can win the British Time Attack Championship in his Porsche race car.

The series, hosts some of the fastest and most highly tuned cars in Europe, holds its final two rounds at Snetterton next month and Chesterfield-based Simon is nicely poised.

Following the last round at Anglesey, Simon climbed into third place overall after two second-place finishes.

And he was driving a Porsche 264 Turbo, new to him, for the first time.

He believes the circuit at Snetterton will suit his Porsche and he hopes he can win both races to win the title.
