Dronfield RUFC tasted bitter defeat at the hands of top of the table Coalville in the Midlands Division Two East (North).
Two tries in the last five minutes for the visitors compounded Dronfield to a 33-3 loss - a second defeat on the trot following the away dissapointment at Bakewell.
Club captain Will Moroney said the players need to pick themselves up for the trip to Notts side West Bridgford on Saturday.
He said: “They had a lot of the ball, probably about 80 per cent, and were well drilled as most teams who come down seem to be.
“The weather played its part and made things even more difficult, there were lots of mistakes by both sides but we were punished.
“We seem to be a confidence team at the moment, Saturday was a lot better but we were against the best all-round team in the league.
“Hopefully we can get that win on Saturday to get us back on track in the league,” he added as his side prepare to take on West Bridgford, who have also lost their last two.
