Robin flies high

Congratualations to Robin Pearson of Speedwell Table Tennis Academy who was in convincing form at the East Midlands qualifying tournament at the weekend and will represent the region in the U11 age group.

Meanwhile, the Chesterfield Table Tennis League is always looking for new players and to encourage youngsters to take up the sport, a one-day course will be held during the half-term break.

It will take place at the Colin Deaton Table Tennis Academy, based at the Springwell Community School, during half term on Wednesday, February 23 from 10am until 4pm.
