Pearson and Rodgers boost Holmesfield

Best bowling figures for Holmesfield were Tom Pearson 2-14 W Helliwell 1-11 and M Singleton 1-20.

In reply Holmesfield scored 133-3 with both N Pearson and M Rodgers reaching 30 and W Helliwell 27.

The only wicket taker for Coal Aston was C Mowbrey with 1-9.

Dronfield Woodhouse scored 171-4 with P Fisher 27, G Sanders 26 and both T Baggaley and M Dawson 25.

Best bowlers for MGT were R Andrews 1-8, S Nalty 1-9 and B Weager 1-10. In reply both S Nalty and R Opick scored 25 and A Keighley 22 as they scored 108-4.

The pick of Dronfield’s bowlers were T Baggaley 2-5 and both C Sanders and M Hayman 1-9.

Chesterfield Barbarians thanks mainly to R Atkinson and M Wagstaff both scoring 26 and A Foulkes and B Fletcher both scoring 25 reached a total of 145-2. Best bowlers for Calow were W Asprey 1-3 and J Horton 1-15.

In reply Calow were bowled out for 89 with best batsmen being P Blair 26 and R Atkin 25. Best bowling figures for Barbarians were A Foulkes 2-2, J Fletcher 2-6 and B Fletcher 3-10.

Apperknowle batted first and scored 148-3 with both N Hibbert and M Hibbert scoring 26 and Z Ansar and T Chedgey both scoring 25.

Wicket takers for Hundall were M Cartwright 1-8 and A Gill 1-37. Hundall then reached their target scoring 149-4 hitting the winning runs in the last over with A Timms 27 and both S Wigfield and P Gibson 19. Pick of the bowlers for Apperknowle were N Hibbert 1-5 A Molloy 1-11 and Wilson 1-14.

Cutthorpe batted first and scored 137-4 with J Carteldge 26 and M Drew 21. For BALGO D Proctor 2-16 and P Beecroft 1-12 were pick of the bowlers.

BALGO then reached 120-8 with J O’Connor 26 and J Burdett 16. For Cutthorpe C Nellis and Taylor both took 1-8 and A Bird 1-9.
