Fifteen-year-old Michael Neale has become the latest addition to the Buxton Hitmen speedway team.
Michael, from Hyde in Cheshire, started his speedway at the age of eight after being inspired by a visit to the Cardiff GP.
He started off with after meeting rides at local tracks and also competed in grasstrack races with some success.
Michael progressed to a 500cc in 2010 and did the rounds at several tracks in the north of England doing second halves and getting as many laps in as possible.
Last year he competed in the U16 Championships and finished a very creditable fourth.
Michael celebrated his 15th birthday on Thursday and is therefore eligible to compete in the NL and is keen to do that at Buxton.
Michael will be joined at Buxton by Ryan Blacklock
Blacklock, a former motocross champion and friend of former Hitman Craig Cook, started his speedway career last season with the Hitmen and is keen to build on the progress he made.
