Max Cook had a brilliant time at Skegness when he won a top award and met former Scottish international player Gary McAllister.
Max, a member of the Chesterfield Town U7s, really took the eye at the popular Lincolnshire resort.
There were more than 100 players competing in his age group but Max stole the show with a piece of football magic.
He went on a run, beat four opponents and scored from an extremely tight angle.
The move won him the golden ball for a special moment and he received his prize from the former Leeds United and Liverpool midfielder Gary McAllister.
The experience for Max, son of Chesterfield FC’s catering and banqueting manager Gary Cook, was a good one.
Teams from all over the UK were involved including Wallsend Boys Club which has produced players of the calibre of Peter Beardsley and Alan Shearer.
Max is a Chesterfield FC supporter but his abilities have been noted further afield and he has been scouted by Manchester City, Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County.
