There were individual wins for Chesterfield Athletics Club’s Katy Gigg and Tasmin Boam in the second Derbyshire Mini Cross Country League at Derby Moorways, writes Frank Gorman.
Tasmin also led her U15 Girls team to a perfect score when they filled the first five places.
Team manager, Ian Menzies, had an excellent turnout of 29 athletes and the club is just holding on to overall second place in a tight battle with Derby AC, with Amber Valley leading. There is now a long gap to the final match which the Chesterfield will host in February at Tupton School.
