ALFRETON Town have extended the loan of goalkeeper Joe Day up to New Year’s Day.
The 21-year-old England non-league international joined the Reds on October 6 from League One side Peterborough United.
Day (pictured) has made six Blue Square Bet Premier Division appearances so far with Alfreton who have received clearance from Peterborough to play him in the FA Cup and FA Trophy competitions during his stay at the Impact Arena.
Meanwhile, striker James Ellison has returned to Burton Albion upon completion of his two-month long loan stay at Alfreton.
James made ten appearances for the Reds, nine as substitute and scored once, his headed goal in the first minute of added time enabling Alfreton to beat Barrow 2-1 on Tuesday, September 20 at the Impact Arena.
