Goal ace Harry in seventh heaven


Harry Brailsford has been celebrating after being in seventh heaven.

For the Spire Rangers U12s ace netted a magnificent seven goals in their 9-1 victory at AFC Mosborough.

Also on target were Regan Harrison and Ethan Charlesworth-West.

Old Whittington U15s defeated Tansley 3-0. Scorers were Nathan Gallagher, Brad Hextall and Tom Pike

Somersall Rangers U12 Sheffield beat Pro Soccer Pumas 12-0.

Hat-tricks came from Billy Whitehead and Sam Barlow, while other marksmen were Aaron Hill 2, Alex Fletcher 2 and Will Tomlinson 2. Man of the match was Finley Davies.

Brampton Rovers U16 SDJSL beat Moorthorpe Rangers 3-2 to go through to the final of the County Cup.

Jordan Dixon netted twice to give Brampton a 2-0 lead but Moorthorpe battled back and levelled at 2-2.

However, Dixon completed his hat-trick with a last-minute goal to take Brampton through.

Man of the match was Conor Bendall.

Brampton U10s SDJSL lost 3-1 to Earl Marshall. On target was Joe Osborn with match awards going to Lewis Booker and Henry Lord.

Despite only having nine fit players Rovers U14 SDJSL had a 6-2 win at Beighton Magpies.

Josh Adams 3, Ashley Barker 2 and Rhys Mullins scored the goals with every player giving their all.

Brampton U14 Boys beat Welbeck Welfare 3-1. Scorers were Nathan Greaves, Jo Hague and man of the match Kane Snell.

Chesterfield Town U10s Sheffield beat Bramley Sunnyside 12-1.

Jack Gibb scored a hat-trick, Benjamin Partner, Elliot Allsop and Rio Topham all scored two with James Millington, Ben Kingham and Joe Millward also netting.

Match awards went to James Millington and Elliot Allsop.

Oliver Papworth scored five as Town U9s Rowsley defeated Brampton Rovers Colts 11-0. Both George Weaver and Oliver Marshall scored two with Harry Kitts and Jordan Timmons one each.

Jay Carr scored four as Town U9s Whites Rowsley remained top of the table after their 6-2 win over Brampton Rovers.

Ryan Evans was Town’s man-of-the match.

Town U11s Mansfield beat ADASC Jets 5-1. Scorers were Jamie Sharman 2, Lewis Smith, Richard Grant and Thomas Weaver.

Town U10s Mansfield beat Manor 4-0. Goals came from Ben Kingham 2, Rio Topham and Regan Millard.

Town U11s Rowsley won 3-0 at Barlborough. James Hinchley 2 and Matthew Burnage were the scorers. Man of the match was goalkeeper Jonny Webb.

Town U16s beat Dronfield Town 3-2. Marksmen were man of the match Tommy Bagshaw and Oliver Shaw.

Town U14s Girls won 3-1 at Alfreton Town with goals from Kotchakon Thongphakdi, Ellie Dunn and Elizabeth Williams.

Abbie Truman was player of the match.

Town U12s Sheffield beat Chapeltown Athletic 2-0. Josh Ward scored both goals.

Town U11s Whites Mansfield drew 3-3. Joel Taylor scored all of Town’s goals.

Town U10s Juniors Mansfield lost 2-1 to Shirebrook Rangers. Josh Wood hit the consolation goal.

Town U14s Sheffield lost 1-0 to Bramley Sunnyside. Toby Curtis was man of the match.

Town U18s lost 4-2 at Matlock Aztecs. John Barton and Ralph Honnister scored for Town with Brandon Marshall winning the man of the match laurels.

Town U12s Rowsley lost 5-2 to Hasland Community. Adam Rogers and Luke Baker scored while match awards went to Alex Ambler and Danny Waller.

Dronfield Town U15s have clinched the league title.

They secured the honour by defeating Rosehill Press 4-2.

Marksmen were Jake Younger, Dan White, Tom Goddard and Dale Jones.

Dronfield U21s beat Mosborough 5-2 to take a step closer to the Meadowhall League U21 title. Two from Johnny Pugh and one each from Richard Hurst, Mikey Shaw and Callum Mawby.

Town U18s were beaten 4-3 by Sheffield Rangers. Jack Lambert with two and one from Lewis Derrett.

Dronfield U16s went down 2-0 to SWYO.

Dronfield U14s fought hard and deserved a share of the points in a 2-2 draw with Sheffield Rangers.

Town U10s were beaten 4-1 by Rawmarsh St Joseph.

The impressive Daniel Rhodes scored the Town goal while George Washbourne was in good form.

AFC Dronfield U8s faced a strong Eckington Boys side.

Ryan Hudson was the star of the day with an exceptional game in defence, while Freddie Parlby was energetic in midfield.

Samuel Hartley hit a stunning goal, striking a pile-driver into the top corner.

AFC U10s stormed into second position after defeating Wickersley Youth 6-1.

AFC opened the scoring, a deflected Jack Parish corner finding goal, closely followed by two more from Parish to leave the home side three goals up at the close of the first match.

In the second match, Oliver Marshall this time adding to the visitors misery.

Tim Clark added another and despite a consolation goal for Wickersley, Thomas Clay rounded off a great SFC win with a final curling flourish to seal the win.

Man of the match honours went to went to Parish and William White.

AFC U12s defeated Greasborough Youth 6-4 after falling 3-0 behind.

Scorers were Jack Roy, Charlie Benn 2, Ross Martin and Sam Woods.

Man of the match was Jack Roy.
