Dagenham and Redbridge forward Paul McCallum (9/1) is the favourite with bet365, while Callum Roberts (Notts County 10/1), Adam Rooney (Solihull Moors 12/1), Rhys Murphy (Yeovil Town 16/1) Kabongo Tshimanga (Boreham Wood 16/1 ), Ross McCormack (Aldershot Town 16/1) and Kyle Wooton (Notts County 20/1) make up the top contenders.

In the middle pack are Connor Jennings (Stockport County 25/1), Wes Thomas (Notts County 28/1) and Ruben Rodrigues (Notts County 28/1).

bet365 has Chesterfield strikers Tom Denton, Scott Boden and Nathan Tyson at 50/1, with Liam Mandeville 80/1 and Jack McKay 100/1.

Chesterfield striker Tom Denton finished last season in great form with four goals in his last five games.

But betfair and Paddy Power have Denton at shorter odds at 33/1 and Boden at 40/1.

In terms of who will win the league, Stockport County are the favourites.

Most bookmakers are rating Chesterfield’s chances of being crowned champions between 14/1 and 20/1.
