Fondop was sent off after the final whistle against Sutton United for violent conduct and will miss the next three matches against Eastleigh, AFC Fylde and Notts County.

But it appears Pemberton will have to stick with his current options of Scott Boden, Tom Denton and youngsters Levi Amantchi and Luke Rawson due to financial constraints.

"I have still got four strikers, I have got big Dents and Scotty (Boden),” Pemberton said.

"I have got Levi (Amantchi) back and Luke Rawson who I used last time and we are looking to see if anything there is available and if we can call a favour but it is difficult.

"What I don't want to do is keep putting young players in a relegation fight.”

He added: “I would like a bit of experience but again financially there is a takeover going off and financially it is tight so but I have got to try and use what I have got wisely and the first thing I needed to address was the right-back situation and the next one I need to address is the situation with the goalkeeper.

"I am on the phone all the time ringing people but a lot of them who have these goalkeepers are wanting them to go straight into the team and I can't guarantee that because that would be unfair so I am trying to sort that out.”
