Weir: '˜Everyone needs to bring something to the table'

Robbie Weir is demanding that every Chesterfield player contributes to the League Two survival cause.

The Spireites skipper insists the relegation battlers possess quality, but they need to show it every time they play.

“I think you look at our dressing room, you see the quality we have when we play well, we just need to get it on a consistent basis,” he said.

“If we can play like we played against Notts County, Luton, I think we’ll be fine – we need to find that way of winning games.”

Weir says that the remaining six games of the season will be battles, and everyone needs to do their best to keep the club up.

“Every game now is going to be an absolute battle.

“All of us have to stand up, give everything you’ve got, whether it’s running around, getting on the ball, the keeper making saves, everyone needs to bring something to the table.”
