Dronfield Town head in to Saturday’s home match against Selby Town looking to put an end to five-game streak without a win in NCEL Division One.

Dronfield suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat at home to Louth Town in midweek before they were edged out a few days later to AFC Emley, also on home soil.

Goals from Jamie Coulson and Callum Hyland had put Louth in to a commanding early lead before Jamie Willis and Lewis Naylor clawed Town level 13 minutes from time.

But all their hard work at Stonelow was undone when Coulson scored what proved to be the winner just two minutes later.

And a second half Sam Jerome goal ensured AFC Emley all three points on the same pitch on Saturday (March 28) and condemned Dronfield to a third straight defeat.

Dronfield have a busy fixture schedule ahead in April, with a scheduled eight matches - six of which are at home. Selby Town up first on Saturday (April 4).
