VIDEO: Spireites honour special supporters at awards presentation

Mick and Dylis Edge were handed the prestigious gong at the Player of the Year awards.

On a night that saw Sam Hird walk away with most of the silverware on offer, the Edges were honoured for their dedication to the club.

Both have been Spireites since they were youngsters, and support the club home and away with daughter Zoe, a retired Paralympian who was previously a Fan of the Year.

Mick quipped: “You can change your wife but you can’t change your club.”
