The sides have gone into battle plenty of times over the years but one of the most memorable games as far as Spireites fans are concerned was back in 2000. In the midst of the fuel crisis in September, Chesterfield showed they had plenty in their tank in a resounding 4-0 win thanks to a brace from Ryan Williams and further goals from Rob Edwards and Luke Beckett.
