In their most recent meeting, earlier in the season, Doncaster were 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Nathan Tyson, Andy Williams and Cameron Stewart.

Last season, Rovers won 3-2 at home against the Spireites.

Sam Clucas and Eoin Doyle were on target that day for Chesterfield.

In the return leg at the Proact, the two sides drew 2-2.

Chesterfield had to come from 2-0 down to secure a point, Doyle and Jimmy Ryan scoring the hosts’ goals.
