Sheila Longden attends matches at the Proact with her teenage grandson Trafford Baxter and yesterday he tweeted a video of his gran’s catchy idea for a chant.

The song, to the tune of This Girl by Kungs vs Cookin’ On 3 Burners, caught the attention of Donohue himself, who retweeted it along with team-mate Dan Gardner.

Trafford is responsible for dragging his nan along to the Proact.

He said: “I started coming to Town games in the last season at Saltergate and after matches I would always go to my nan’s and tell her all about the game.

“Eventually I convinced her to come to a game and watch the Spireites.

“She loved the first ever game and comes with me every week now.

“We love going together, we have such a laugh.”

Sheila’s favourite player is Tommy Lee and was ‘over the moon’ when he wished her happy birthday.

But when her grandson and his pal were coming up with ideas for player chants, she chimed in with one for Donohue.

Trafford said: “This video all came from one of my mates having a laugh with this song, making players names up then Sheila jumped in with this brilliant idea for Dion Donohue.

“I found it so funny I had to film her and share it with the fellow Spireites as it could kick on to a good chant at the games.

“I think Nan would love it if everyone started singing it.”
