Solihull Moors

Towering striker Kyle Hudlin is being linked with a shock move to Premier League champions Manchester City.

The 21-year-old, who is 6ft 9in, is apparently also being watched by Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough and Cardiff City.

Meanwhile, the Moors have signed striker Andrew Dallas from Cambridge United for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old scored 12 goals in 25 appearances for Weymouth last season.

Southend United

The Shrimps have lost out on keeping experienced winger Ricky Holmes to Farnborough.

The newly-relegated side wanted to maintain the services of the 34-year-old, who joined them in February, but have been beaten to the deal.

Meanwhile, Southend have signed striker Matt Dennis, 19, on loan from Norwich City.

Grimsby Town

Young Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Alex Hunt has joined on loan until January.

The 21-year-old made his debut against Chesterfield on Saturday.

Chesterfield’s opening day opponents have brought in striker ‘Ibby’ Akanbi, 24, from Maidstone United, where he scored 11 goals last season.

The Shots have also snapped up former Crystal Palace youngster Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong.

FC Halifax Town

The Shaymen have signed former Fleetwood Town youngster Jamie Cooke, 22, on a two-year contract.

Halifax secured his signature after agreeing an undisclosed compensation agreement with Northern Premier League side Colne FC.

Yeovil Town

Everton attacker Sonny Blu Lo-Everton has joined on loan from Watford until January.

The 18-year-old has had a previous loan spell at Wealdstone.
