Staveley made it five league wins from five starts, beating Hall Road Rangers 2-0.
And manager Billy Fox can put add that record to the ever-increasing club records that have been broken during his tenure since October 2009.
With ten games played this season – nine wins and a draw – a varying starting line up reflects the strength of squad Foxy has assembled at Inkersall Road this term.
It was not the best ever performance from Staveley, described by the manager as “a workmanlike performance with a decent shift.”
Maintaining the same starting line up as Tuesday’s FA Cup victory was the reward for the starting 11 that performed so admirably against Evostick side Goole AFC.
There were early signs of hesitancy in the Hall Road central defence as Staveley went for the more direct route down the middle.
Chris Coy slotted the ball into the corner of the net on nine minutes to give Staveley a 1-0 lead.
With the half time whistle approaching Adam Nicklin claimed Staveley’s second.
Next up for Staveley MWFC is Pickerking Town on Saturday in the FA Cup and the potential for a prize pot of £3,000 for the winners.
