Daly made his debut on Saturday but was sent off in a 4-1 defeat by Nantwich Town.

His second half red card came with the score at 2-1.

Daly, who is now seen as a left winger by Spireites boss Danny Wilson, was joined by his gaffer’s son Laurie Wilson in the Frickley line-up.

The Irishman has made two senior appearances for Chesterfield so far in his career.
