Former Chesterfield striker Tony Lormor has rejoined the club, taking on the role of kit man.
Lormor, who scored 35 goals in 113 appearances for the Spireites in the 1990s, is pleased to return to the club.
He said: “Chris Turner got in touch to ask me whether I fancied the job and I jumped at the chance. It’s nice to be back and I’m really looking forward to it.”
Chief executive Turner added: “It’s great to have a former player involved in this role. Tony is passionate about the club and I’m sure he’s going to be a great asset to Paul Cook and his staff.”
Lormor had a three-year spell with Chesterfield after signing from Peterborough in 1994, scoring 35 goals in 113 appearances.
