Andy Morris has left his community coaching role with Chesterfield, bringing an end to a 25-year association with the club.
Former striker Morris was affectionately known as Bruno by Spireites supporters during his 225 appearances for the club where he scored 56 goals.
He joined Chesterfield from Rotherham United and went on to secure a place in the club’s history when he scored the opener in the 3-3 draw against Middlesbrough in the 1997 FA Cup semi-final at Old Trafford.
Morris left the club to join Rochdale in 1998 but returned two years later as the Football in the Community officer.
He has managed the Community Trust’s Futsal team in recent times and leaves the club to pursue another role.
