Goal reaction from fan writer Ben

And that they have! Chesterfield 4-1 King’s Lynn Town. It’s Danny Rowe’s first for the Spireites, and in some style! A thunderous free-kick from some way out left the visitors’ ‘keeper no chance, and that makes the points well and truly safe for Town. Get in!

ROWE!!!

He blasts in a low free-kick from about 30 yards for his first Chesterfield goal.

Every single outfield Spireites player celebrates with him. Great moment.

4-1.

Two goals in the first ten minutes of this half should have finished this game off...I hope!

YARNEY!!!

Clarke’s deep corner is headed back across goal, Yussuf is denied from close-range and Yarney smashes it in. Great start to the second-half for the Spireites.

We’re back underway!

A big 45 minutes coming up in Chesterfield’s season.

2-1.

Chesterfield lead at the break

HT: Chesterfield 2 v 1 King’s Lynn Town

All three goals came in a mad five minute spell.

Yussuf and Carline for the Spireites, Carey for the visitors.

Goals reaction from fan writer Ben

I’ll be honest, these goals have all come a bit too quickly for me to keep up with! THREE goals in quick succession mean that the scoreline is Chesterfield 2-1 King’s Lynn Town. Yussuf and Carline the goalscorers for the Spireites in a game in which they probably just about deserve to be ahead, however I think it would be disingenuous to say they’ve been at their best or have absolutely dominated this match. Still, they’ve played well enough and have managed to gain and then quickly regain an advantage. If they continue playing as they are, and cut out the silly mistakes, Town should be more than fine from here. Let’s hope they can hold this lead a little longer than their last!

Whittle went down injured a moment ago but he is back up and okay now.

Montgomery has just tipped over Carey’s free-kick. He looks a talent for the visitors.

2-1.

GOOOOOAAALLLLL: 2-1

CARLINE!!!

The Spireites are back in front. Carline’s long throw from the left comes back to him and his drilled, first-time effort takes a deflection and goes in. Yussuf claims he got a touch but who cares!

2-1.
