National League transfers round-up: FC Halifax Town sign two strikers, Stockport County add winger and Torquay United sign former Bristol City midfielder

FC Halifax Town

Have signed former Solihull Moors striker, Matty Stenson, 26, on a two-year deal.

The Shaymen have also brought in forward Jake Hyde, 30, after scoring 16 goals for Woking last season.

Meanwhile, Niall Maher, Jeff King, Nathan Clarke and Jamie Allen have all agreed new contracts.

Stockport County

Winger Jordan Williams, 27, has arrived from relegated AFC Fylde on a two-year deal.

Torquay United

Former Bristol City midfielder, Connor Lemonheigh-Evans has joined after three previous loan spells with the club.

The 23-year-old played an important role in The Gulls securing the 2018/19 National League South title.

Woking

Have signed Connor Hall from Bolton after a successful loan spell at the club in 2017.

Hall scored three goals in six games for Chorley before the season was cut short.

Woking have also re-signed John Goddard, 27, for the new season.

Notts County

Defender Richard Brindley has signed a new deal at Meadow Lane, while goalkeeper Joe McDonnell has joined Eastleigh.

Have signed Gus Mafuta on a one-year deal after the midfielder left Hartlepool United.

Yeovil

Defender Josh Staunton, 24 has joined on a free transfer from fellow National League club Halifax, for whom he played a part in every game last season.

The Glovers have also re-signed goalkeeper Adam Smith from Forest Green after two previous loan stints with the club.
