Clay Cross Town have put their faith in the management duo of Ant Lynam and assistant Andrew Thornton for the forthcoming Central Midlands season.
Both Lynam and Thornton have long associations with the club and its former name Parkhouse FC.
Former Scarborough Athletic, Rainworth MWFC, Sheffield FC and Dinnington Town player Lynam was delighted about the move.
He said: “I am excited to be taking on a new role with my local club. I’m looking forward to getting pre season started in the next few weeks.”
It will be both men’s first foray into management.
Clay Cross finished last season third in the Central Midlands Football League behind Dronfield and Mansfield.
