Man with history of awarding penalties in Barnet and Chesterfield matches takes charge of their clash
A man with a history of awarding penalties in Barnet and Chesterfield matches will take charge of the Spireites' trip to the Hive.
Dean Whitestone pointed to the spot for the seventh time in 15 encounters with the Bees, in their December win over Morecambe. Four of those were given in Barnet’s favour.
In nine Spireites games he’s awarded four spot-kicks, two of which were for Town.
This season the Northamptonshire official has taken charge of 39 games, dishing out 98 yellow cards and taking out his red card three times.
He’s given seven penalties.
The last time Chesterfield were refereed by Whitestone was 24th September 2016 when they lost 2-1 to Bury.
They’ve won three, lost four and drawn two of the games he’s officiated.
