Tom and Stuart became members of the club in 1975 by being part of the team who set up the Gladiators Social Club housed in the wooden building adjacent to the changing rooms.

Over the years they raised significant funds while running many activities in the facility and have become more and more involved in the running of the club.

Hazel joined the committee in the same year, joining her dad Walter and brother Keith as members. She worked alongside Kath Bonsall doing the boardroom refreshments for many years before taking over the running of the Tea Bar with friends Elaine and Carole.

Hazel also ran the ‘200’ Club which for many years provided a good source of income to the club.
