Clay Cross Town’s winning streak came to an abrupt end at home to the hands of Swanwick Pentrich Road.
Both sides played entertaining football, but it was the two goalkeepers who had a big say in the proceedings with good saves at both ends.
The visitors took the lead just before the break through Shane Whitmore, but the Millers never stopped pressing for an equaliser.
Richard Wall added to the Swans lead with a header on 65 minutes and, despite their efforts, the Millers couldn’t penetrate a solid defence and lost the game 2-0.
This Saturday Clay Cross travel to Southwell City.
