Sheffield FC have secured a lucrative home friendly with FC United of Manchester.

They will play the fans-owned rebel club at the Coach and Horses ground in Dronfield on Tuesday July 28 (7.45pm.)

FCUM supporters filled the ground when the two met in the FA Cup FA Cup first Qualifying Round in September 2009 - and the visitors ran out 3-1 winners.

And the world’s first club will also entertain a Burnley X1 four days and host a Northampton Town select side on Friday 31st July. Meanwhile, on the other side of Sheffield, Stocksbridge Park Steels have some big local names coming to Bracken Moor.

They host representatives of Rotherham United on Saturday July 11 and Sheffield United on July 15.
