The goalscorers

Town were much better after the break, than before it, and their strikers were both largely unplayable en route to a 3-0 victory at the Proact.

Find out how the players rated.

Shwan Jalal - 7 - Was largely protected by his back line, had to deal with some shots from range and did so comfortably.

Jonathan Smith - 6 - He 'made sure' Denton's first goal went in. The usual full blooded effort levels but didn't deliver much in the way of balls into the box.
Ellis Chapman - 5 - Didn't seem to want to commit to challenges, in or out of possession. Struggled until late on when the game was well won.
Joe Rowley - 7 - Started well, got a bit lost and then after the break roared back into the game. Playing with renewed confidence. Got an assist. Almost got a goal.
Josef Yarney - 6 - Defended well enough, just not quite as good on the ball as Town would have liked.
Haydn Hollis - 7 - A good, no-nonsense display from the centre-half.
Laurence Maguire - 7 - First time we've seen him as a defensive midfielder, did very well. Won plenty of tackles, provided a lovely assist.
Will Evans - 7 - Solid as a rock.
Charlie Carter - 6 - Still finding his feet after a long, long time out injured. Flashes of what he can do. Needs match fitness and time.
Tom Denton - 8 - Two goals and an assist. Rarely wasted possession. Gave Sutton too much to handle.
Scott Boden - 8 - Showed what a clever player he is with excellent runs, linked up well with Denton and took his goal brilliantly.
