How National League clubs have voted so far on whether to cancel remaining fixtures

National League clubs are reportedly split on whether to cancel the remainder of the season’s fixtures.

Of the 24 National League clubs, 10 want the season to end immediately, four want it to continue, nine are undecided and one refused to answer, according to the BBC.

Clubs have been asked to vote on whether to scrap all fixtures that would have been played until the end of the campaign.

The league’s board have recommended that clubs give it the green light.

If it is approved a second vote will be held to determine the outcomes of the season.

However, some clubs have expressed concern because they do not know what the finer details of the second vote are and whether the options will involve solving promotion/play-offs/relegation.

Chesterfield have already voted to end the season.

Clubs have until May 7 to cast their votes but it had been hoped that a decision would be made this week.

As well as the 24 National League clubs, the National League North and South divisions will get four votes each.

It is has not been explained why 24 of the 32 votes will come from the National League.
