Rowe said: “To be honest he (Tyson) was slightly ahead of schedule but because of the latest isolation period that has gone back to the original date of the end of January.

“I am sure he can make an impact for us. I have studied his game like I have studied other players before I came in, no different just because he was injured. I think he can have a positive impact and I think he knows he can as well.

“I think the style of play might suit him as well, the high intensity work we do, that suits his game, high energy, we are looking forward to having him back and not only that he is a great character and has great experience.”

Goalkeeper Luke Coddington has not played for a year because of a knee injury but, like Tyson, it is hoped he will be back sooner rather than later.

“They are still on track, there has been no recurrence of their injuries, it is a case of their recovery back onto the pitch,” Rowe added.

In other news, Milan Butterfield has returned from his one month loan spell at Guiseley.

When asked if he could go back out on loan, Rowe added: “I can’t really update you on that at the moment but we will see how that one pans out in the near future.”
