Nailers boss Aaron Webster was impressed with the front man who went on to bag a hat-trick in the game at the Marstons Stadium.

Hazel has found the back of the net 41 times so far the season, with Saturday’s showing his third treble of the campaign.

Webster said: “He played well and was a handful. He mixed his game up, he went short and went long, he was strong and his strike from the edge of the box was a hell of a hit.

“He had a good game. The places where he has been in his career so far will point to the quality he has. He’s scored so many goals this season as well.

“He has a chance of breaking their all-time record for the number of goals scored in a season and for a club like Frickley who have been around a lot is impressive.”
