Cromford and Wirksworth Reserves still looking for first point after MRA defeat at Tibshelf

Cromford and Wirksworth Res remain pointless at the foot of the MRA Premier League following a 5-0 defeat at Tibshelf.

They restricted the home side to a one goal advantage at the break after Max Minshull had lifted the ball over the keeper from 25 yards out just short of the half hour mark.

Within two minutes of the second half Steve Webster curled a lovely strike past the visiting keeper before a brace of penalties were converted by Aaron Turner.

And the Tibshelf player would complete his hat-trick with a deft chip with just under a quarter of an hour remaining.

On a dreadful afternoon both sides put in a sterling effort for Tibshelf they are now pulling away from the foot of the table but the search for their first points goes on for the visitors.
