Match of the day saw the top two face each other at Coronation Park, Belper United taking over in top spot after a 4-2 defeat of Eastwood Community.

Ben Stockley scored twice for Belper, Scott Slater and Sam Vickers adding one each, while Dave Worger and Daniel Guild were on target for the home side.

Selston took an early lead through Wayne Cooke as they met Clay Cross at the Parish Hall Ground, Gregg Fitzpatrick levelling for the Millers on 33 minutes.

Goals in the last quarter of an hour from Shaun Farnsworth and Dominic Airey settled it in favour of Selston, who are level with Sherwood Colliery in third place.

Sherwood were emphatic 8-0 winners over a struggling Bulwell side who have conceded 23 in their last three games.

There were hat-tricks for Julian Topliss and Lee Easom, with two for Mark Carter.

Hucknall Rolls have lost just once in their last 12 games, and they continued their successful run with a 3-1 defeat of local rivals Linby Colliery.

Goals from Jack Allen (2) and Rory Smith saw them home, Will Spray replying for the visitors. Hucknall Town kept up their challenge with a 5-1 win at Keyworth United.

The scores were level at the break, Kajally Danso’s opener for Hucknall being equalised by Dean Bussey, but second half strikes from Michael Bannister, who scored twice, Tom Crisp and Ben Waplington gave Hucknall a comfortable three points.

Ben Newman’s half time team talk must have been highly effective as his Pinxton team shrugged off a goalless first 45 minutes at Collingham to blast in seven during the second half.

Jimmy Adcock and Alessandro Di Genio scored two each, the others coming from Jake Vernon, Luke Walker and Joel Smith. Southwell City scored four goals for the first time this season but are still searching for their first league win as visitors Blidworth Welfare ran in seven of their own.

Tim Gregory, Keenan Leeds and Gaz Curtis all scored twice for the visitors, Max Curzon with the other goal, while Southwell’s goalscorers were Stuart Gill, Danny Garrett, Jonathan Nussey and an own goal.

Shane Buckerfield opened the scoring for Swanwick at Mickleover RBL, but the Swans found themselves behind, Sean Fell and Daniel Dolby putting the Legion in front.

Just two minutes remained when Dean Owen levelled the scores to earn Swanwick a point.

Matlock Town Reserves won 3-2 at Holbrook St Michaels, with goals from Alex Hewitt, Matt Wilkinson and Dec Jenkins.

Glapwell chalked up their eighth successive away win in the Black Dragon Badges North Division, three second half goals bringing them all the points at Harworth Colliery.

Ryan Cancellara broke the deadlock on 51 minutes, an own goal doubling the advantage before Adam Kimberley completed the scoring eight minutes from time, inflicting only the second defeat of the season on Harworth.

Phoenix moved into second with a comprehensive 8-0 defeat of struggling Dinnington Town.

Sohail Hussain and Rob Gorman both hit hat- tricks, with Scott McKenna and Dan Payne adding one apiece.

Ollerton Town made it four wins in a row, winning a local derby with Bilsthorpe 3-0.

Jamie Charlton’s 15th minute goal separated the sides at half-time, Callum Atkinson and Craig Stanton making the points safe in the second period.

Another local derby at Brodsworth saw the home side overcome Askern 3-1.

Bradley Maddison, Brad Sykes and Josh Bowkett were Broddy’s scorers, Askern’s reply coming from a Gary Mundy penalty.

A howling wind made conditions difficult at Low Farm as Easington United beat a patched up Newark Town side 3-0.

Anthony Barnett put the Eastenders in front six minutes from the break, Town’s resistance finally being broken by a Mark Hutchinson penalty and a Luke Brumhead goal in the space of two minutes a quarter of an hour from time.
