Clipstone were in control for 85 per cent of the game and set out their stall right from the first whistle with two corners in the opening minute.

On five minutes Carl Snowden found himself beating the last defender only to see his right footed shot clip the outside of the left upright and go behind for a goal kick.

On 30th minutes the refere refuised to give Cliostone apenalty, despite a blatant push on Clipstone forward Pete Stubley. But six minutes later Nathan Millington was tripped by Tim Perry and this time a penalty was awarded.

Rob Paling took the spot kick, sending the away keeper the wrong way, and that lead was doubled two minutes into added time of the first half from a free kick wide on the left which Ian Hillier sent to the far post, finding Shaw all by himself to nod home.

The second half offered little until the 52nd minute when Pete Stubley layed the ball off to Ian Hillier to stroke home.

On 72 minutes man of the match Stubley set up Carl Snowden to make it 4-0.

Neighbours Shirebrook Town also made FA Vase progress on Sunday with a 2-1 victory at Hallam.

Daniel Booth put Shirebrook in front on 19 minutes only to see Brad Sampson level nine minutes later. A Rob Adgie own goal nine minutes from time sealed it for the visitors.
