If there was any doubt about the team’s form continuing from last season that was soon accounted for when Montelle Kamara struck his debut goal after just two-minutes.

The Millers went on to apply further pressure on the home defence and despite a number of saves from goalkeeper, Jack Hood his goal was breached once again.

That second goal came on the half-hour and from the boot of captain, Josh Scully who released a ferocious shot from twenty-five yards that flew into the roof of the goal and beyond the reach of Hood.

The home side strived to recover from the two-goal deficit and as a result recorded their first true attempt on goal on 35 minutes but Ryan Hopkins tipped the effort acrobatically over the crossbar.

There was soon to be further goals to come and it was Callam Lytham who forced it past Hood to see his side into a comfortable 3-0 half-time lead.

It was just after the hour that the irrepressible Lewis Macaskill decided to open his goal tally for the season with a powerful towering header.

Once that first effort went in it then turned into something of a personal goal spree for the 24year-old striker.

Two solo efforts in the 72nd and 73rd and yet another text book header on 77 made it four for Macaskill and seven for the Millers.

This Saturday they take on one of the early title favourites in Retford United. KO 3pm.
